 I can't tell you how many times I have heard that phrase over the many years I have been in the music industry.MPC (Multi-Media Personal Computer) This logo was one of the first signs that addressed the fact that people wanted their PC's to do more than word processing. Unfortunately, "ease of use" has not been something you can say about computers and music until recently, and even then it helps to get a "jump start" on things from someone who has been where you are right now- you bought a new computer, software, some hardware and you have no idea how to make all of it work together so that you can make music.
What is MIDI? (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) Isn't that old technology?
Yes, it is old and it has been around a long time but it is still being used and even if you have one of those new keyboards with USB and no MIDI jacks, you still need to know all about MIDI.
